Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the KingRide website (kingride.shop) and any orders you place with us. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About KingRide

KingRide is the authorized European reseller of PIXAR e-bikes. We operate from our EU warehouse and ship to customers across the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein.

Throughout these Terms, "we", "us", "our" and "KingRide" refer to the operator of kingride.shop. "You" refers to the visitor or customer.

2. Eligibility

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence. By placing an order you confirm that this is the case.

3. Products and Pricing

All product descriptions, images, specifications and prices are shown in good faith but may contain unintentional errors. We reserve the right to correct errors and to update product specifications without prior notice — including minor changes by the manufacturer.

Prices shown on the site for EU destinations include VAT and standard EU shipping. For non-EU destinations, import duties or local taxes may apply and are paid by you to your local customs authority.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or cancel orders at our discretion — for example in case of suspected fraud, obvious pricing errors, or stock issues. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you will receive a full refund.

4. Order Process and Acceptance

An order placed on our site is an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation by email, or, at the latest, when we dispatch the goods.

Until that confirmation is sent, we may refuse the order at our discretion. If we do, any payment already taken will be refunded in full.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods listed at checkout, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Klarna (where available). Payment is processed by our payment providers — we do not store full card details on our servers.

If you choose Klarna or another installment provider, the terms of that provider apply in addition to ours.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We ship from our EU warehouse to all EU member states and selected non-EU countries (UK, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein). Estimated delivery times are shown in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Reasonable delays caused by carriers, customs or force majeure do not entitle you to cancel the contract, but if delivery is materially delayed, contact us and we will help.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. If the bike arrives damaged, please follow the procedure in our FAQ within 48 hours.

7. Your Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), if you are a consumer based in the EU you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, send a clear statement of withdrawal to support@kingride.shop.

If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your statement — provided you return the goods promptly. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise.

8. Extended Return Policy

In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we offer a voluntary 30-day return window. To qualify for our 30-day return, the bike must be returned in original condition, with the original packaging, and have ridden less than 80 km. Full details in our Returns & Warranty page.

Our extended return policy does not affect or limit your statutory rights under EU law.

9. Warranty

All bikes come with a 2-year commercial warranty covering the motor, battery, frame and electrical components against manufacturing defects. Wear parts (chains, tyres, brake pads, cables, grips) are not covered.

This 2-year warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under EU consumer law (currently EU Directive 2019/771 — Sale of Goods).

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, images, logos, photographs, videos, and the KingRide name — is the property of KingRide or its content suppliers and is protected under European and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

PIXAR, Bafang, Samsung, Shimano, Kenda and other brand names belong to their respective owners and are used here for descriptive purposes only.

11. Acceptable Use

You may not use the site:

  • For any unlawful purpose, or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
  • To violate any international, EU or national regulations or laws
  • To infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • To harass, abuse, defame, or discriminate against others
  • To submit false or misleading information, including using stolen payment methods
  • To upload viruses, malware, or attempt to disrupt the operation of the site

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove content, or cancel orders in our sole discretion if these terms are breached.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable EU law.

Subject to the above, our liability arising out of or in connection with any product purchased through our site is limited to the price you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses such as loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data.

13. Privacy

How we collect and process personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. We are GDPR-compliant and you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page and dated at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers where appropriate. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of our country of incorporation (within the European Union), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the country where you reside.

If you are a consumer in the EU and have a complaint we cannot resolve, you may submit your complaint to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
