Below are the questions we get most often. Can't find what you're looking for? Email support@kingride.shop or visit our Contact page.
No. All PIXAR e-bikes we sell are EPAC pedelecs — limited to 25 km/h with a 250 W motor, certified to the harmonized European standard EN15194. Under EU law they are classified as bicycles, not motor vehicles. This means no driving license, no insurance, no number plate and no registration are required in any EU country. You can use them on bike lanes and shared cycling paths just like a regular bicycle.
EU rules treat EPAC pedelecs as bicycles, so there is no EU-wide minimum age. A few countries set a local minimum (typically 14). If you're buying for a younger rider, check the rules where you live.
We ship from our EU warehouse. Typical transit times to your door:
You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as the bike leaves the warehouse.
Yes — for EU customers, the price shown on each product page is the final price. VAT and standard shipping inside the EU are already included. No customs fees, no surprise charges at checkout. For non-EU destinations (UK, Switzerland, Norway), local import duties or VAT may apply on top — these are charged by your local customs, not by us.
All 27 EU member states, plus the UK, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein. If your country is not in the dropdown at checkout, email us — we may still be able to help.
It depends on the model, assistance level, terrain, rider weight and weather:
For honest planning, expect the lower end of the range in cold weather, on hilly routes, or with extra cargo.
4–6 hours from empty to full with the included charger. The battery is removable on all our models, so you can charge it indoors without bringing the whole bike up.
Most of our city models are designed for riders between 150 and 200 cm. The handlebar is adjustable and the seat post has a wide range. If you're outside that range or unsure, email us your height and weight and we'll recommend the right model for you.
The PIXAR C1 Pro is rated up to 150 kg (rider + cargo). The Cysum CityRun 26" is rated up to 120 kg. Both come with reinforced frames and rear racks that accept standard European panniers and child seats.
Yes — they ship around 95% assembled. You only need to attach the front wheel, pedals and seat, and adjust the handlebar. The included toolkit and illustrated manual make this a 10–15 minute job. No bike-shop visit required.
Yes. At checkout you can choose Klarna — 3 interest-free monthly payments (0% APR) or Pay-in-30 days. Soft credit check only, with instant approval in most EU countries. We also accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
Our standard 2-year warranty covers the motor, battery, frame and all electrical components against manufacturing defects. Wear parts (brake pads, tyres, chain, cables) are not covered, as is standard for the cycling industry across Europe. Warranty claims are handled by our European team — no overseas shipping involved.
You have 30 days from delivery to test the bike. If you want to return it, the bike must be in original condition, with limited mileage (under 80 km) and the original packaging. Email us first at support@kingride.shop and we'll arrange the return. Refunds are processed within 5 working days of the bike arriving back at the warehouse.
This 30-day return policy is on top of your statutory rights under EU consumer law.
Email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the damage. We'll either send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement at no cost to you. Our 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects discovered later.
Our bikes are built around well-known international components — BAFANG motors, Samsung battery cells, Shimano gearing, KENDA tyres. Wear parts like chains, tyres and brake pads can be sourced from any European bike shop. For motor, battery or display replacements, email support@kingride.shop.
Our bikes are rated IP45 or higher for water resistance, so riding in rain is fine. For long-term storage we recommend keeping the bike under cover and bringing the removable battery indoors, especially in winter (temperatures below 5 °C reduce battery lifespan).
Our support team replies in English for all customers across Europe. We also handle German messages directly. For French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and other EU languages, we use translation tools — please feel free to write in your own language, we'll understand.
Email support@kingride.shop and we'll get back to you within one working day.
